Aquin Ventures LTD is a limited liability company established under the laws of Seychelles.

Our App is designed to help users mirror their iOS device screen to compatible televisions over a local Wi‑Fi network. We value your trust and are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected in accordance with applicable data protection standards.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please refrain from using the App.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third‑party platforms or services you may access through the App. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices.

Categories of Data We Collect

We do not require users to create an account or submit personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact details. The App operates without user registration and does not transmit personal content to our servers.

To enable screen mirroring functionality, the App may request the following system‑level permissions:

• Local Network Access: required to discover and establish connections with compatible smart TVs or casting devices on your Wi‑Fi network. The connection process is initiated and controlled by the user.
• Photo Library Access: if you wish to display local images or videos on your TV, the App may request permission to access your media library. This access is used solely for playback on the selected device.
• Screen Recording (iOS system broadcast): the App utilizes Apple’s screen recording API to transmit your device’s screen content and audio to a connected television. No recording is saved, transmitted to external servers, or stored by Aquin Ventures LTD.

No content is uploaded or stored remotely. All media access, network interaction, and screen mirroring occur locally on your device or within your private home network.

The App does not collect precise location data, contact lists, microphone input, or biometric identifiers. No machine learning or automated profiling is applied to user content.

We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

How We Use Your Data

The App operates locally and does not transmit any of your personal content—such as screen recordings, photos, or videos—to our servers. We do not access or store what you mirror or play via the App. Your content stays on your device or is streamed directly to the target screen of your choice.

We do, however, collect certain technical and usage‑related information to ensure the App works reliably and to help improve its performance over time. Specifically, data is used for the following purposes:

• Device Discovery: local network access allows the App to identify and connect with smart TVs or casting devices on your Wi‑Fi network.
• Media Playback: if you manually select a photo or video to cast from your library, the App accesses only the selected files for playback on your connected TV. We do not analyze or transmit this content.
• Screen Mirroring: Apple’s iOS screen broadcast API is used to mirror your screen in real‑time. No data is stored or sent to us during this process.
• Feature Usage Insights: we collect anonymized data about which app features are used (e.g., screen mirroring, photo casting, etc.) and how often. This helps us understand what users find useful and where improvements are needed.

We do not log, inspect, or analyze your mirrored content. We do not use your data for behavioral profiling, advertising, or content tracking. What you choose to display—and where you display it—is entirely up to you.

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process limited technical data strictly under the following legal bases:

• Legitimate Interests: we rely on this basis to improve application performance, maintain functionality across devices, and ensure compatibility with local network environments. This includes basic technical diagnostics and anonymized usage statistics.
• Consent: when the App requests access to features such as your local network or photo library, your consent is obtained via system‑level prompts. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

We do not process sensitive personal data, nor do we rely on automated decision‑making or profiling. All data access is limited in scope and strictly necessary to provide the core functionalities of the App.

Sharing of Information

We don't sell your data. We don't rent it out. And we definitely don’t hand it over to advertisers.

The App runs locally and does not upload your screen content, photos, or documents to any remote server. However, to help us keep things running smoothly, we do use a few well‑known analytics and infrastructure tools. These services help us fix bugs, understand feature usage, and manage subscriptions. Here’s what we use:

These tools only get anonymized or aggregated diagnostic data — never your screen, files, or media. We also require all providers to follow strong data protection rules and never use your data for their own marketing.

Data Retention

We do not store any personal information, screen recordings, photos, videos, or network data on our servers. All mirroring sessions, local media access, and network interactions are handled in real‑time on your device and terminated upon disconnection from your smart TV.

Any technical diagnostics, if collected for crash reporting purposes, are retained only by third‑party analytics tools (if integrated) and in accordance with their respective data retention policies.

Since we do not operate a server‑side storage system, there is no user data retained by Aquin Ventures LTD beyond what is transiently processed on your device.

International Data Transfers

Aquin Ventures LTD does not store or process user data on remote servers. All interactions, including screen mirroring sessions, media access, and network discovery, are managed locally on your device or through peer‑to‑peer communication with your smart TV over the local network.

If in the future we integrate third‑party analytics or diagnostics tools, some anonymized technical data (such as crash logs or performance metrics) may be transmitted to servers located outside of your country of residence. These transmissions, if any, would rely on established safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure compliance with applicable data protection standards.

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that such technical diagnostics, if collected in future versions, may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

However, please be aware that no method of wireless transmission or network communication can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You are responsible for ensuring that your local network and device permissions are properly configured.

Links to Other Services

The App may include links or integrations with third‑party services or platforms, such as content providers or smart TV manufacturers. These third parties operate independently from Aquin Ventures LTD and are governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of any third‑party websites, applications, or connected smart TV systems. If you choose to interact with these services, we recommend reviewing their privacy policies before sharing any information or granting access.

Refund Data Sharing with Apple

If you request a refund for an in‐app purchase or subscription through Apple, we may provide limited, non‐personal information to Apple to help them evaluate and process your request. This may include:

• Whether subscription features were accessed
• A non‐identifiable user reference used internally

This information is shared solely with Apple to support refund processing and is never used for marketing, tracking, or user profiling.
